Biographie
I was born in 1994 in Larache, Morocco. After completing a bachelor’s degree in science, I decided to pursue my passion for the arts by enrolling in the Department of Fine Arts at INBA. In 2020, I graduated and currently reside and work in Tétouan.
In my paintings , I explore the theme of solitude and seek to express the profound feelings I experience in both my inner world and external . Through my art, I aim to evoke the weight that burdens my shoulders and soul, while expressing hope for a new life.
My works are characterized by skillful use of acrylic, oil pastel, and pencil. I create visually striking compositions, using vibrant colors and strong contrasts to capture the emotional atmosphere of solitude. The solitary figures I depict, often set in evocative environments, allow viewers to immerse themselves in an introspective universe.
I draw inspiration from masters of painting such as Edward Hopper, Francis Bacon, David Hockney, and Alberto Giacometti, who have also explored solitude in their work. Their influences manifest in my temptation to master technique and my ability to create suggestive compositions that capture attention and provoke deep reflection.
Through my art, I aim to convey a profound empathy towards universal human emotions, inviting the viewer to reflect on their own experience of solitude and the potential for transformation and renewal. My paintings and drawings offer an invitation to sincere introspection and the search for a new life beyond solitude.
